Here at Pet Doctors Papatotoe East Veterinary Clinic we are keen to educate animal owners and the general public about the care and welfare of animals.

And there's no better time to Start than with the younger generation.....

This month we hosted 11 girls from the local Brownie troop 'Awhina World' badge. The girls were given a tour of the Veterinary clinic, then talked to by veterinarian Tanya Page about the important aspects of looking after their own pets. The girls had lots of ideas to share and many stories about their experiences with their own pets. The evening was finished off with a quiz about animal care with all the girls receiving spot prizes.

Tanya has also visited a daycare centre in Manukau to talk to children aged about 3-4 years old about being a veterinarian.
